We are a visa processing office and can be contacted regarding applications after they are lodged with our office. 

Before contacting us, you should check our global processing times as we will not respond to enquiries for applications that are within our global processing times.

Please contact us via email if your application is urgent because of exceptional, compelling or compassionate circumstances.

You should lodge a complete application at the time of lodgement however either online via ImmiAccount or when submitting a paper application to the Australian Visa Application Centre, if you have additional documents to add to your application you can send these to us: 

Upload them via ImmiAccount

If you have lodged online, you can submit (upload) supporting documents online via your ImmiAccount.  To attach documents to your visa application, please login to your ImmiAccount, find the application details page and click on the ‘Attach Document button’ on the right hand side of the screen.  The maximum size for each file you attach is 5MB

Please note, mail services can be unreliable therefore we suggest you consider couriering documents to our office. 

Only applicants from Cyprus can mail or courier paper applications to the above address.  All paper applications from applicants residing in Lebanon must be submitted in person to the Australian Visa Application Centre.

Persons will only be admitted to the Embassy if they have a scheduled interview.  The Embassy address is:

You must bring with you to your interview your original passport for identification. 

The Visa Office in Embassy in Lebanon does not have a phone enquiry service. To hear a recorded message you can call +961 1960 670

The Department has a call centre based in Cairo, managed by TLScontact, to service general client pre-lodgement enquires from Lebanon.  The call centre is operational from Sunday through to Thursday 9:30AM to 5:30PM

Please note that we receive a very large number of calls daily and as a result you may be placed in a call queue which means you might have to wait on the line for some time.

Please do not call the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in the Australian Embassy in Lebanon as they are not responsible for visas and cannot transfer your call.  You should only contact DFAT if you matter relates to Australian passports or consular services for visiting permanent residents and Australians.

Post-lodgement enquires

Global visa and citizenship processing times are published on our website, to indicate the timeframe in which we aim to process a complete application.

We do not respond to status-related enquiries for applications that fall within the published processing times.  You should wait until after the processing time has elapsed before contacting us. If you lodged your application online, you can monitor the status of your application through ImmiAccount.

Please contact us via email on only if your application is urgent, if there are exceptional, compelling or compassionate circumstances that would warrant the grant of a visa sooner than our advertised processing time.  Please note not all urgent requests can be accommodated.
