The Australian Embassy in Beirut no longer takes telephone enquiries on immigration and visa issues.
Information about visas, citizenship migration matters and how to apply for a visa is available from the website www.border.gov.au or on under the ‘Connecting with Australia’ tab on the Australian Embassy Lebanon website: www.lebanon.embassy.gov.au
For general pre-lodgement enquiries, you can call our Visa Application Centre in Cairo +20 233 313 301 (International call rates apply).
You can contact the Australian Visa Office by email only at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive an automated response when you send us an email. Please read this carefully. If your enquiry is answered by the information in the automated response, you will not receive another reply.
We do not respond to status-related enquiries for applications that fall within the published processing times. You should wait until after the processing time has elapsed before contacting us. If you lodged your application online, you can monitor the status of your application through ImmiAccount.
Please contact us via email on email@example.com only if your application is outside our published processing times or your application is urgent, if there are exceptional, compelling or compassionate circumstances that would warrant the grant of a visa sooner than our advertised processing time. Please note not all urgent requests can be accommodated.
Global visa and citizenship processing times are published on our website, to indicate the timeframe in which we aim to process a complete application. http://www.border.gov.au/about/access-accountability/service-standards/global-visa-citizenship-processing-times
Please do not call the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in the Australian Embassy in Lebanon for visa related enquiries as they are a separate office, are not responsible for visas and cannot transfer your call.
To hear a recorded message only you can call the Australian Visa Office on +961 1 960 670
