Visa and citizenship by descent application charges
All charges and fees are payable in cash in United States dollars only.
Please reconfirm the appropriate application charge prior to lodging your application as charges are subject to change at short notice.
Charges and fees may also be paid at a Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) office in Australia. If charges are paid in Australia, an original pink receipt must accompany the application.
The current Visa Application Charges and fees for each visa subclass and citizenship by descent application are published on DIAC's website. DIAC’s website also contains a currency converter to assist you to convert the current charges and fees in Australian dollars to United States dollars.
